I oversaw all aspects of the club's information technology infrastructure. My responsibilities included managing network systems, ensuring data security, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and implementing technological solutions to improve operational efficiency. During this time, I took part in a complete overhaul of the club's network infrastructure, replacing the aging SonicWALL and Ubiquiti equipment with Fortinet gear including a firewall, switches, and wireless APs.
From 2015 to 2018, I was a technician at the IT Service Desk. I was responsible for managing and supporting Windows-based computer systems, networks, servers, and associated hardware and software.
In 2018, I was promoted to manager, directing the IT Service Desk for an organization of 300+ employees, achieving a 90% customer satisfaction rate via surveys. Oversaw an endpoint upgrade of 300+ computers which included project and vendor management. My other duties included developing and tracking KPIs and reporting them to the CIO.
As a technician at a retail computer store, I addressed user support questions, guiding through troubleshooting. Diagnosed hardware issues and replaced faulty components. Performed PC builds, and software installations. Advised on data backup and antivirus solutions. Simplified technical details for non-tech users. Certified repair technician for the following vendors: Apple, Dell, Lenovo, Toshiba, ASUS, HP.
